Mentoring is a partnership between two people and is about developing opportunities as well as solving problems. Being trained as a mentor gives you the opportunity to mentor others, whilst learning new skills, developing greater self-awareness and reflecting on your practice. This programme is intended to provide you with a better understanding of the structure of the mentoring process and of the intellectual design behind mentoring. The programme will include: What mentoring is and the benefits of mentoring Mentoring core skills The mentoring relationship Tools for the mentoring conversation Action planning and reflection The programme is FREE and exclusively for registered manager members of Skills for Care. You will need your membership number when you register; you can find this on the certificate you would have received as a new member, or on your membership home page (click here). If you cannot find this or you think you do not have access to it please email membership@skillsforcare.org.uk. This programme will be run on Zoom.

The network was launched in the Eastern Region early in 2022 and has been running as an active group since its launch. If you are a nominated individual in the Eastern region, please join us for these network meetings. You can choose as many meetings as you are able to and the majority of these sessions will be run on Zoom.
